They will need one of these supported fintech banks to claim. Let them know in advance so they can set up an account.
What can go wrong and how we handle it
The birthday person enters a wrong phone number. If the phone number is not linked to OPay, PalmPay, or Moniepoint, the transfer fails and the slot is restored. They can try again with the correct number.
Not everyone contributes in time. One person funds the Goodiebag. Friends can send their contribution to that person through any transfer method before the bag is created.
Some family members miss the birthday window. Set a 24-hour claim window so people in different time zones or with busy schedules can still claim their gift.
