Host a live trivia game, free.

Free to join, always. The host funds any prizes, so nobody pays to play and nobody can lose money. Winners get paid out automatically to their bank when the game ends.

How it works

From questions to payout in one live session

Set up01

Write or upload your questions

Type questions in or upload a spreadsheet. Add an optional prize for each question if you want to fund real payouts, or leave it free.

Share02

Players join with a code

No app, no PIN, no sign-in. Players open a link, enter the join code and a nickname, and they're in the room.

Play03

Fastest correct answer wins

Each question closes the moment everyone's answered. Winners are paid out automatically as one transfer at the end, if the game has prizes.

Why it's different

Built for a live room, not a static claim link

Free to try

Run a full trivia session with zero prize money. One free game per host every 24 hours, sign-in required, no packet and no fees.

Bonus rounds

Any question nobody gets right replays after the main round, up to 3 bonus rounds, so prize money doesn't just sit unclaimed.

Early close

A question closes as soon as every active player has answered. A fast room never sits waiting out the clock.

Late join

Players can join a game that's already live. They come in idle so they never interrupt a question in progress, then join fully the moment they answer.

Win caps

Hosts can cap how many questions one player can win, so a paid game's prizes spread across the room instead of one fast player taking everything.

One payout, not many

Winnings tally across the whole session and pay out as a single transfer per player at the end, not one transfer per question.

Mechanics and fees

Free games carry no prize money and no fees. One per host every rolling 24 hours, sign-in required.

Paid games need a prize pool of at least N5,000, or N500 per question, whichever is larger, across 2 to 20 questions. The standard Goodiebag fee stack applies: a 3% platform fee capped at N3,000, a N20 fulfilment fee per question (not per player, since each question is its own payout allocation), a N200 minimum combined fee, and a N50 stamp duty on any single payout of N10,000 or more, borne by the winner. See the full fee breakdown for worked examples.

Payouts go to the same supported banks as any Goodiebag claim: OPay, PalmPay, and Moniepoint.

A note on compliant use

Goodiegames is a social gifting format, not a betting or gambling product. Players never pay to enter or play, so nobody stakes anything and nobody can lose money. The host funds any prizes up front. Do not use Goodiegames for betting, gambling, lotteries, raffles, illegal promotions, scams, or any activity prohibited by our Terms or payment partners.

Goodiegames questions

Is Goodiegames free to use?+
Yes. You can host a full trivia session with no prize money at all, once per 24 hours, as long as you're signed in. Adding real cash prizes for each question is optional.
What's a join code?+
A short code players type in to enter your live game. It's not a PIN and there's no claim link involved, a join code is just how players find your room.
What happens if nobody answers a question correctly?+
It replays in a bonus round after the main sequence. If it's still unwon after 3 bonus rounds, any prize money for it goes back to the host.
Which banks can receive game winnings?+
The same supported fintech banks as any Goodiebag claim: OPay, PalmPay, and Moniepoint.
How much does a paid game cost to run?+
A paid game needs a prize pool of at least N5,000, or N500 per question, whichever is larger, across 2 to 20 questions. The standard Goodiebag fee stack applies on top. See the full fee breakdown on the Fees page.
Do players need to download anything?+
No. Players join in a browser with a nickname and the join code. No app, no account, no sign-in.
