What can go wrong and how Goodiebag handles it
If your phone number is not linked to a supported bank account, the claim will not proceed. If you enter a wrong phone number, the transfer fails and the slot is restored so you can retry. For payouts of N10,000 or more, stamp duty of N50 may apply. If Paystack or your bank experiences a processing delay, the transfer may take extra time. Each failed transfer creates a support reference that you and the sender can use to track the issue.

What do I need to claim a Goodiebag?+
You need the claim link, the four-digit PIN, and a phone number linked to your OPay, PalmPay, or Moniepoint account. No app download or account creation needed.
Why does Goodiebag only support these three banks?+
These fintech banks use phone numbers as account identifiers, which supports phone-linked claim verification without collecting account numbers from recipients.
Do I pay any fees to claim?+
Goodiebag does not charge recipients a claim fee. Statutory stamp duty of N50 applies to individual payouts of N10,000 or more.
What if my phone number is not linked to any supported bank?+
You cannot claim a Goodiebag if your phone number is not linked to OPay, PalmPay, or Moniepoint. Check which fintech apps you have installed and confirm your phone number is registered with them.
Can I claim more than once?+
Each phone number can claim only once per Goodiebag. If multiple Goodiebags are active, you can claim from each one with the same phone number.
